The Shethia crane hiring business was founded back in 1968, beginning its journey as a proprietorship venture.

In the early days the operation ran with a single 10-tonne crane and a modest team of just seven employees on the books.

By 1985 the company had established its own workshop at Kapurbawadi, operating a fleet of 30 machines that could handle loads up to 100 tonnes.

Guided by a firm commitment to faster, superior service for every client, the enterprise expanded rapidly year after year.

Shethia Erectors & Material Handlers Ltd. was incorporated in June 1989 with 35 units of equipment, serving corporate clients and meeting their lifting requirements.

As demand grew, operations were relocated to a larger 3.5-acre facility in Panvel, equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure.

Today the company commands an extensive fleet of equipment with capacities reaching up to 1100 tonnes.
